Tradition Medical Center- Phase II Expansion
Port Saint Lucie, Florida

Since opening in December 2013, Tradition Medical Center has brought high-quality health care to the residents of Port Saint Lucie, Florida.  By 2030, Port Saint Lucie is expected to grow 79 percent.  Tradition Medical Center was specifically designed for future expansion to accommodate Port Saint Lucie’s rapidly growing population.  This 170,000 square-foot expansion will add three stories and double the hospital’s capacity by adding 90 new patient rooms.  When completed, Tradition Medical Center will total nine stories and have 180 patient rooms, as well as twice the parking capacity that it had before.  In addition, the expansion includes a catherization lab, expanded maternity, neonatal intensive care and emergency departments, an 18-bed observation unit, a new outpatient surgery center, and a medical office building.

Tradition Medical Center is owned and operated by Martin Health System.  Martin Health has already broken ground on Phase II, and targeted completion is set for Spring 2018.  Robins & Morton has been selected as the general contractor to manage the project.
